WE WERE NOBODY UNTIL YOU MADE US SOMEBODY //

Named after the book Nadja as a commentary on the Manic Pixie Dream Girl and muse trope, NADIE NADIA is an indie post-rock, jazz, and alt-pop project. Influenced by Karen Dalton, Linda Ronstadt, Mildred Bailey, and jazz-adjacent math rock bands, each one of NADIE NADIA’s songs aim to reflect and connect the shared human condition. In addition to their haunting melodic synth-driven original songs, NADIE NADIA performs Swing and Big Band jazz standards from the 1920s, 1930s, and 1940s. They invite every{one} to ride the bebop with them and hope every{body} feels at home with their music.
